Several fund raisers help with charitable work in the area, where over $21,000 is raised and distributed annually.

Membership Benefits

When you join the Knights, you have the opportunity to become a member in the Knights of Columbus Insurance program. It has options to invest in whole life policies, term insurance, or combinations of both. Other investment opportunities are also available, such as annuities and long term health care.

Youth competitions are also sponsored by the Knight’s. These include the following contests: Punt, Pass and Kick; Soccer; Christmas Poster; Basketball Free Throw; Knowledge (Math and Spelling); and an Essay. Winners from the local

Council events are eligible to participate at the Diocesan and State levels.

 

For families, the Council sponsors a St. Nicholas party. Families also participate in the annual golf outing.

The KC Clubhouse has a large hall with a seating capacity of 450. There is also a small hall that can seat up to 100 people, and a lounge with 2 bar areas with large screen TV’s. The banquet facilities can accommodate Christmas parties, weddings or anniversaries, funerals, and more. See our Banquet Hall area or call +715 384 2488.

Community Activities

The Marshfield Council periodically holds corporate communions at area churches, and also holds an annual Memorial Mass for deceased members. A group rosary is prayed at the wakes of deceased members and their spouses.

 

A clergy evening is held to show support for the priests of the surrounding area, and the Church Committee also has a program that purchases rosaries for the First Communicants.

 

The Council is involved in several community activities including, June Dairyfest, Relay for Life promotions, weekly visits to the area living centers, and blood drives held at the KC Hall.
