| An annual event
where we honor our area Clergy with a dinner and meeting.
In the Fall of 2002 we honored Father Todd Mlsna as the Knights
of Columbus Priest of the year. This event is our way of showing
our support for the Clergy who give so much of their time
and remind us how important it is to have God involved in
our lives. |

Knights of Columbus Annual Men's and
Women's Golf Outing |
| The Knights
of Columbus has an annual golf outing the third weekend
in August. The rain date is the following weekend if
the clubhouse is available. It is held on a Sunday at
the Marshfield Country Club for any Knights of Columbus
member (does not have to be a member in our council),
their spouses, etc. |
|
|
A great way to spend a Sunday.
Come join us each August. |
|
|
|
|
There
are three divisions as follows: men's, women's, and
senior's (55 and older). The men play 18 holes and
the women have the option of playing 9 or 18 holes.
You play in foursomes that you arrange or the coordinators
will arrange, although only individual scores are
kept. There are special events on all holes.
Following the golf there is a banquet
at the KC clubhouse. This consists of a dinner and
awards. There are many sponsors, which goes along
with the many awards and/or prizes being passed out.
You don't have to golf to attend the banquet and vice
versa. |
The golf outing has been held for many
years and normally has about 55 golfers. The contact persons
are Ron Fischer (387-6728) and Mike Blackwood (387-4820).
The deadline for entering is usually about a week before
the event.

There is a presentation of the money collected
from the annual KC Tootsie Roll drive that is donated to
Special Olympics, Norwood Volunteer Services, Handicap Scout
Troop 34, Unified Services Opportunity Development Center
and Scholarships. |
